"You are sunshine on a cloudy day!"


During our premarital counseling, my husband and I both took surveys in order to better understand our individual personalities. One of the things the profiles both said was that we were each like... "sunshine on a cloudy day." To this day we enjoy teasing each other about this funny little fact. :)

Sometimes we are sunshine...and sometimes we're not. But, we are soooo in love and are completely enjoying our journey in life together.

The Big Reveal!

Well, it's official...we know what it is! If you're ready for the big reveal, read on!


It's a boy and his name is Micah Jonathan Moen. He is estimated to arrive right around our anniversary...December 19th! We couldn't be more thrilled and hope to decorate the nursery with brown, blue, sage green and tans. Jon is particularly excited to find a Norman Rockwell sketch of a baseball player to put in his room. What a huge blessing this baby will be to our lives. We are so thankful for this special little boy...and the fact that the Lord has placed him in our care and allowed us to be his parents. We couldn't be happier. Thank you for your prayers as we embark on this exciting journey as parents.

    Oh that is so exciting! And great name. I will never forget the day we found out we were having a little girl, it is an amazing feeling that makes it so real and exciting. It is truly a miracle and a gift to be the parent to such an amazing little girl and I know you feel the same about your sweet little boy. Oh I am so happy for you Kendall!
